i just gotta post this music 102. or. whattablogado

i really just want to put this piece of music out there because i'm kindof in love with it at the moment. i've probably listened to it a bit too much but i just love what it makes me feel, its so evocative and powerful. it bursts with nostalgia and romance and....simpler, easier times perhaps. you here this and you just think, ''ahh okay then, everything is absolutely fine.'' my (beautiful understanding) girlfriend will attest to my habit of playing it 3 or times in a row. just stop and listen please-just once. elrossiter x x

its a late night early mornin 101. or. there won't be any proper tuition you understand

i'm listening to Slade 'begginings/play it loud' there first 2 albums on one disc! whilst wearing my new (and second) slade t'shirt-which i probably coudnt afford, but do i give a fuck?! i'm mostly just winding down after a long and slightly bizzare night at work. people are obnoxious when there utterly trouserd (hammered, typsy, pissed up) and you are sober. not all of them, don't get me wrong-but some people can be quite repulsive, and others just creepy and mental.

woudnt be surprised if i get a call in the morning asking me to come in as someone was ''ill'' today-bloody buggered if i am though. planning on having an epic lye-in baby!

anyway forget all that bollocks and listen to some noddy wisdom-
the pleasures of the journey to the centre of your mind!!

that is all.

its a slade tribute celebration. or. a rowdy 100 for ya's!

AAAAAALL THINGS TO EVERYONE, RUN RUNAWAY!!
its a good times, happy times, party times jump about tune-which is what slade did best! and i've finished noddys biography 'whos crazee now' which i thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed!! slade were the ultimate working class band, they did they time, worked there arses off and had a bloody good time while doing it. at one point they were one of the biggest bands on the planet-which is something i don't think many people know (i didnt to be honest). they were truly massive and there history is fascinating, as is noddys view on the world. love it!

truly there live performances were something to be reconned with!

they had such a loyal, supportive and crackers fan base-people simply loved them, no-one had quite the knack that noddy did with the audience. the ultimate working mans band.
i'm gonna finish for the time being but i'll try to recount some of his stories at later date.

i believe....

with thanks to those good and inspiring people

well thats a turn-up for the books. or. luff luff luff 99 indeed

well here i am thinking that i have the 100th post looming immediately and squarely before my eyes, when as i have just discovered, it is merely 2nd in the queue. who knew!

it has been a while but iheres to just getting on wi tha blog. i am typing frpom my shiny new 'HP' lappy toppy. whilst gradually uploading my lifetimes worth of music onto the thing. also got my photography to put on there which is the more important thing really (and yes there is a shedload of that too believe you me)

so what the hell has happened to me since my last blog-shit loads really but i wont bang on too much so heres a condensed version-

was made redundant from my old job, which got me away from one the worst companys i have ever worked for-in regards to how they treat there staff and the massive level of imbedded incompetence. they were and remain, utter utter horrible bastards!!
started my new job dec 12th of last year. more on this later.
got taken to a falconry and stayed in a wizards thatch for my birthday by my continualy wonderfull girlfriend.
been indoor rock climbing for the first time and had a great time.
err yeah and lots of stuff inbetween that i may mention if comes up or becomes relevant at some stage.

music i've been listening to over recent months includes elvis costello, the cure, talking heads, eels, slade, empire of the sun, blondie, nick cave and the badseeds and elvis presley.

currently reading simon peggs autobiography 'nerd do well' which i'm enjoying immensely. before that i read captain corellis mandolion by 'louis de bernieres' which is one of the best books that i have read and i will DEFFINITELY be talkiing about this in further depth.

currently watchiing series 3 of true blood with the mrs and series 1 of misfits by myself.

still massively into eddie izzard and the usual stuff.

so yeah i'm gonna leave it at that for the moment.

with thanks to the marvels of laptop based technology.
